So, guys! This Wedding Party was thrown in my bedroom and everything that could go wrong all went wrong at one time! Ok, hilarious, but I kid you not about the #wedding in the #movie. I watched the awesomely fun movie directed by Kemi Adetiba this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the humor. As, we all know there's always a moral lesson in #Naija movies. What spoke to me in The Wedding Party is the bride holding on to her #values and being appreciated for that. It's tough to hold on to values in a world where you will be shamed and guilted and made to feel afraid to hold on. It's refreshing to see that it's still being propagated by the media as a decent thing to do. I swear I almost lost my faith in Naija movies and stopped viewing a long time ago, but I'm back on.
The facial expressions in this scene below really threw me in fits of laughs, oh, and there was the character of Zainab Balogun who busied herself begging wedding party favors and distributing wedding gifts or souvenirs. And then the scene about who is not in the wedding party list. I love facial expressions, they're green fields for reading body language. There were lots of it in the movie. Speaking of green, told you I've been wearing trendy #green. So, here's another green lace top and my very comfortable pair of loose fitting Ankara pants. Wore them with these red tasseled cream heels from LovelyWholesale for a relaxed casual look.
