An Orange Lace Skirt

“Orange, Longbottom.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

( In my preacher voice) "Before we proceed, is there any out there who does not know the son of the muggle-born Gryffindor, Lily Potter, who was married to James Potter? (Pause) Should such a one that ignorant be found in our midst then we should all arise and bring her forth to baptism"
Ahem, Orange, Longbottom, very true. This tailored orange lace skirt which hits just below the knees seems to be a leg short'ner and yet I love it. I haven't really got brightly colored bottoms in my wardrobe so I embrace the change when I surprise myself like I did in the picking of this fabric which I told you all about here.
I wore it with red, another bright color, and grounded them both with a solid black footwear.
